Haven Gastropub

Opening to a crowd of over 500,000+ at the 2009 Orange International Street Fair, Haven Gastropub has made a name for itself in culinary world, taking the “gastropub” concept (offering high-quality food in a pub, a quintessentially British watering hole) from the streets of London to Southern California. Under the direction of Chef Greg Daniels, Haven Gastropub strives to push the boundaries of what is commonly thought of as pub food, offering dishes such as Duck Confit Poutine, Crip Braised Pork Belly, and Rabbit Fricassée. Along with the restaurant’s extensive craft beers and cocktails, Haven Gastropub has truly created a unique experience for diners.
Chinoise Cuisine
Chinoise Cuisine is motivated by a unique concept: offering five star dishes at an affordable price. A full service catering company led by Chef Jack Lee (former Hotel Bel-Air Banquet Chef), Chinoise Cuisine is “dedicated to excellence in food quality, preparation and presentation”.. With offerings such as Kobe Beef Wraps, Lobster Ravioli, and Pistachio Crusted Veal, Chinoise Cuisine will undoubtedly bring a delicious array of dishes to Plate by Plate.
Rustic Canyon

Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen has its “roots” from seasonal dinners that were held inside of a treehouse in the Rustic Canyon neighborhood in the Santa Monica mountains. Inspired by fresh, local ingredients, the menu at Rustic Canyon is seasonal – constantly changing to make full use of the best quality ingredients available. With food made to be shared, this restaurant offers delicious, innovative and sustainable cuisine.
Maison Akira
Under the guidance of Kyoto-born and French-trained Chef Akira Hose, Maison Akira (located in Pasadena) features cuisine that is a unique blending both Japanese and French flavors and foods. Priding itself in offering diners with “unique fine dining with an international flair,” Maison Akira’s menu includes dishes like Miso Marinated Grilled Chilean Sea Bas and Roasted Rack of Lamb in Rosemary Sauce. Maison Akira offers such dishes in a “causal, but elegant atmosphere,” perfect for all diners.
Drunken Udder

Drunken Udder almost seems to good to be true. By combining alcohol and ice cream, which are arguably two of life’s greatest indulgences (and vices), Drunken Udder has carved a unique niche for itself. Flavors such asCaramelized White Chocolate w/White Chocolate Liqueur, Keoke Coffee and Tequila Lime Sorbet are just a small sampling of Drunken Udder’s delicious concoctions (which only the 21 and over set can enjoy). With a new take on a classic dessert, Drunken Udder has created a truly adult treat.
Fluff Ice
Not shaved ice, not ice cream and not frozen yogurt, Fluff Ice is a different take on the ever-popular frozen dessert craze. With the shaved ice at this Monterey Park establishment taking on unique, light, airy texture that can best be described as “fluff,” Fluff Ice blends everyday flavors (ex. mango, strawberry and green tea) in a way that has only been seen by very few.
