22 months, 1,357 hours, 30 people, 2 ladders, 1 still camera and 288,000 jelly beans. What am I talking about? Kina Grannis‘s new music video – In Your Arms – made entirely of jelly beans. Surely you’ve eaten them, but have you ever seen them animated?
One after another, the jelly beans would be placed by jelly bean artists under an elevated glass to create different scenes. Kina, who is half-Japanese half-European, would lie on the glass, pose, and a photo is snapped. This was done 2,460 times! These frames were then put together like a slideshow to create this video where Kina travels from place to place and from season to season in her jelly bean world.
