It’s been nearly a month since my hair has undergone the Global Keratin treatment and I’m happy to report that I am very very satisfied. I never knew how nice it would be to not have to struggle through knots and brush vigorously to get a desired hairstyle. I like my hair, after blow drying, shines like the stars. I like how smooth it feels. I like how yummy it smells. (I don’t like how much I keep touching and smelling it though).
The Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner work together to cleanse, nourish, and hydrate hair while increasing manageability. I need it because I am not the type of person who goes to the hair salon as required. My hair needs those because it is dry and damaged. Those products have good quality!
Even on my “best” hair days, my hair tends to still have frizz. I have yet to see one product that can tame my frizzy asian hair.

I die my hair almost every month. I dye it blue, red, and purple interchangeably, so eventually my hair ends up feeling exactly like straw from the continuous application of bleach, and man is it some heavy duty stuff to bleach near-black hair up to yellow. (When it finally is brought up to yellow, however, I look exactly like Hikaru from “Hikaru no Go.” Not a good thing, but I thought I’d share regardless.) Anyway, I’m curious about this hair treatment. I’ve always felt really ambivalent about shampoo and conditioner for dyed hair, but this actually looks like the real deal.

Though it is best recommended to get the Global Keratin treatment before using the after care products, you don’t need to. Good luck!
I like my hair…when it’s in a bun or ponytail, and I don’t have to think about it. Why? When my hair is down, it’s flat and style-less, and just plain blah. I yearn for smooth, silky, healthy hair that my highlighted locks haven’t been in a long, long time. I want the “come hither” hair that screams, “touch me! play with me!” I have heard about how great keratin treatments are for hair from friends and from your previous articles, and this Global Keratin treatment will be my very first one! I can’t wait to try it and sing praises about it to the world (or, at the least, LA county).
Only one question, however…do I need to get the in-salon treatment before using the after care set? Thanks!
