Video of the Week: Wong Fu Productions’ “To Those Nights”
Post by Ethel • May 15, 2013 • Post a comment

It is said that people become brutally honest during times of intoxication. We allow ourselves to feel heartbreak that we try to hold back, we tell people the things we are most afraid to admit, we even make mistakes- lots of them.

Watch Wong Fru’s most recent short “To Those Nights” as a reminder that the heart and mind wander to interesting places when under the influence of alcohol.

Since we love our readers, we decided that instead of giving you just one Daily S.H.A.G. (Smoking Hot Asian Guy) we’d give you two. We bring you Yoshi and Peter Adrian Sudarso (yes, they’re brothers!) While we often see the Sudarso brothers with their shirt off (We’re not kidding- check out their youtube videos. You won’t be disappointed) the boys show us that they look just as good with a shirt on. With advertising like this, who wouldn’t want to purchase some Wong Fu merchandise? Post by Ethel • April 18, 2013 • Post a comment

After years of putting out heartwarming (and heartbreaking) videos, the boys of Wong Fu Productions find that they have run out of ideas. But don’t panic- Ted, Wes, and Phil decide to go on a camping trip to help stir up some ideas. The result? A flash back overload. See if you can put it all together:

Wong Fu Productions | Meet the Kayak

Whats one of the more scarier parts of starting up a new relationship? Meeting the parents. There’s even a belief that Asian parents are a bit more scary because of such high expectations. While this may or may not be the case, meeting the parents tends to be a scary event for Asians and non-Asians alike. While you may have a tale or two to tell about your own experience, you probably never expected this to happen.

Watch the Wong Fu version of meeting the parents and comment below to tell us some of your own stories!

The stories that hit too close to home. The romance that leaves us sighing. The heartbreak that brings us back to years before. We should be used to it by now, but it looks like Wong Fu has done it again. If you have ten minutes to spare, let this new short Somewhere Like This pull at your heartstrings.

It’s one thing to be born into an interracial family, but it’s another thing to come home after being away for 2 years and unexpectedly find yourself suddenly part of one. Wong Fu Production’s new mini-series, in association with a FremantleMedia Company – “Home is Where the Hans Are” – shows how this unanticipated surprise might just be what Derek needs most as he returns home after realizing his dreams are getting him nowhere. Video of the Day: Wong Fu Produces Leehom’s Music Video
Post by Melody • October 13, 2011 • Post a comment

I’m sure you all know how amazing Wong Fu Productions is at producing videos – if you don’t know who I’m talking about, where have you been this whole time? Phil, Ted and Wes have produced the music videos for YouTube stars like 7th most subscribed musician on YouTube, David Choi, and rising musical star afterschoolspecial, but never an artist in Asia. And the first time they did, they went big. I’m talking about one of the most highly visible Taiwanese stars, Wang Leehom, who personally sought them out and had them fly over to Asia to produce his newest music video – of which the song wasn’t even released to the public yet!

When the opportunity came around in an e-mail they found in their inbox, they didn’t believe their eyes. As exciting as it sounded, the e-mail just seemed kind of questionable, but not long after the video was put into production. The video has been out for a few days already now, but in case you haven’t seen it, here it is!

ISA LA Recap

Far East Movement.

After several hours in the sun and nine hours of standing, my body was completely exhausted and my feet were dying but I must say, it was totally worth it. The International Secret Agents Los Angeles (ISA LA) event that took place in Queen Mary on October 1st gathered together the best of the best Asian YouTube stars you could think of plus other top-selling mainstream artists: Far East Movement, B.o.B, Sean Kingston, Jay Park, Wong Fu Productions, AJ Rafael, David Choi, Kevin Wu (KevJumba), Ryan Higa (NigaHiga), Clara C, Cathy Nguyen, and the list goes on. A year ago my cousin introduced me to them and I’ve been hooked ever since. In fact, I’m listening to their songs right now while I’m writing this so you can imagine how excited I was for the event.
