Sooo … in my frantic and very pathetic effort to quickly move out of my apartment back East, I accidentally threw a big box of my stuff out. And being me, of course I threw out the box with my camera, iPod, three pairs of heels, and a number of other valuables. I also lost a clutch and a purse … or two.
If I were you, I’d hop on either of these bags before I get on ‘em. Made by Samantha Thavasa and valued at $295 each, nabbing one of these bad boys is the cherry on top to start your banana sundae weekend.
We’ve got a pretty cool giveaway this week! In this high tech age, it’s something we can all use — an AOC Aire Black LED Monitor.
When Korean American Grace Lee‘s firstborn, Olivia, turned 1, she left her career in finance to be a stay-at-home mom. But it wasn’t long before the 33-year-old got antsy. One day, Lee, her husband and Olivia went for a drive in the family minivan. Lee turned to her husband and said, “Honey, what do you think about me designing jewelry?” He answered, “Go for it!”
And Oli + Me was born.
We got the scoop about this new fine jewelry line from Lee herself.
Air Bud, Wallace’s Gromit, Scooby-Doo, and Paris Hilton’s Tinkberbell are all bona fide cuddly celebrities who probably even have their own representatives in Hollywood. Not trailing far along is Rebecca Bonbon, an adopted Parisian bulldog who lives the sweet New Yorker life that entails dining on bonbons, traveling and shopping.
Born in 2005, Rebecca Bonbon owes her posh life to Yuko Shimizu, the same hands that created Sanrio character Hello Kitty 36 years ago.
The rightful owner of Bonbon, Shimizu, worked at Sanrio Co., Ltd. from 1969 to 1976 after she graduated from Musashino Art University in Kodaira, Tokyo, Japan. She drew inspiration from the cats in Through the Looking Glass and decided to sketch the former Hello Kitty we now know and love. Soon Shimizu left the company to start a family of her own. And now, as an independent designer, she introduces Hello Kitty’s canine cousin to Hollywood.
Enamored yet? We’re giving away a giant goody bag filled with decadent wintry items just released for the pup’s holiday line. It includes a v-neck with rhinestones, scarf, wallet, hat, gloves, beanie, and earmuffs. It’s a giveaway anyone would surely want to have their hands (or paws on). For a taste and look into the luxurious life of Rebecca Bonbon, comment on three different posts on AudreyMagazine.com and tell us which posts you commented on. (You must have a U.S. mailing address to win!)
Rebecca Bonbon made its American launch in 2010, so to guarantee merch for yourself, you can visit your local Kmart, Sears, or the official Rebecca Bonbon website here: http://www.usarebeccabonbon.com/.
If there’s one thing I can’t do, it’s hair. I wish I was good at it, but I really suck at it. I am envious of women who know how to do their hair effortlessly, especially since I have to wrestle with mine to even get it up in a practical bun. My kid sister, on the other hand, is a pro at it and can do her hair like it’s her job.
If I had this little goody, maybe I’d be a better ‘do do-er. FHI Heat, the name in hair styling products, offers all sorts of high-end hair help, and their Go 1″ Styling Iron doesn’t disappoint.
The iron is not just a straightener — it’s a ceramic tourmaline styling powerhouse, so it’s actually good for your hair. It includes all the necessary features of a great styling iron (ceramic tourmaline plates, a wide adjustable heat range, extra long cord, etc.). Plus, it’s a handy size with dual voltage international plug for all you travelers. The Go Styling Iron comes in bright fun colors such as Girly-Girl and Hot-Hot-Hot — yours will come in the fabulous Mermaid Me hue.
I know I can’t do hair, but I can do math. The FHI Heat Go Styling Iron would cost you $79.99 retail, but this week, you could get yours for nil. Even this hair ignoramus knows that’s a pretty sweet deal.
Don’t wait till September 22, 11:59 p.m. to comment. Retweet for an additional entry and you must have a U.S. addy to win. (Apologies to our international readers!)
Congratulations to Audrey reader Alice Han who won our Thank Goodness It’s Free Friday Giveaway for an Allison Dayton silver strung nest necklace with grey pearls!
A note from Alice:
Thanks! I love my new necklace. My daughters love it too. They wanted to try it on and I said this one is mommy’s special necklace. It’s beautiful.”

Last year, the daughters of Benefit Cosmetics’ founders announced that they were joining their mothers’ company with the debut of a new line of cool and cute perfumes, inspired by London’s Crescent Row. Their latest second iteration is just as cute as the first. Dubbed the Second Story, these three eau de toilettes feature the same whimsical package-inspired storytelling as the first set in three new scents.
Look for a complete editorial in our Summer issue, set to hit the street in June. In the meantime, we’re giving away one fragrance, Garden of Good and Eva, from the second release — which hasn’t hit the stores yet! A fresh, light scent that fits just about anyone. Be the first to rock this scent by winning it here. Retails for $36. Yours for zilch. Just comment below until 11:59 April 21. Good luck!
Gooood morning ladies! (Or afternoon or evening if you’re not on the West Coast). It’s our favorite day of the week here at Audrey Magazine — thank goodness it’s FREE-day!
Continuing on our hair theme from last week, I have very special news… I’m giving away a top-of-the-line FHI Heat flat iron this week only!
What’s so special about FHI Heat flat irons? Besides being manufactured by the originators of the flat iron technology — South Koreans — and featuring all the latest and greatest bells and whistles like three layers of baked ceramic plates with authentic advanced tourmaline technology, consistent optimal heat, beveled plates for smooth curls and proprietary Nano-Fuzeion technology for conditioning and shine, it’s also FREE.
And, I only have one. That’s right guys, ONE. One very lucky gal chosen at random will receive FHI Heat’s Technique Do More Series: Earth 1 inch flat iron, which retails for more than $120.
You know the drill — comment here starting today until 11:59 p.m. April 14.
Good luck and TGIF until next Friday!
Aren’t you glad it’s Friday? Because that means time for another giveaway! This time, we’re giving two lucky Audrey fans brand-spankin’ new, top-of-the-line professional hair dryers.
The first is the TS-2 Edge Tourmaline Infused 1875-watt dryer that also comes with a mini detailer straightening iron – perfect for bangs. The dryer is equipped with far-infrared technology, which works to dry hair evenly, and ceramic/ionic technology to reduce frizz and static.
The second dryer also features ionic tourmaline technology. iTech’s Ionic Tourmaline Professional Hair Dryer is lightweight and quiet (good for early mornings or nighttime hair washers). This gentle 1800-watt dryer uses ionic technology to cut drying time in half and seal in moisture, reducing split ends and eliminating frizz. Both dryers retail for more than $100 each and the mini detailer retails for $29.99.
Want one? Just post a comment below about your hair needs or whatever’s on your mind, starting today April 2nd until 11:59 p.m. April 7th. Then, become a fan of Audrey on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. We’re only choosing two winners for this giveaway. The first winner will receive the TS-2 Edge and the second winner will receive the iTech Ionic Tourmaline.
Good luck and TGIF!
