Oh. My. Goodness.
Just when we thought Godfrey Gao couldn’t get any more attractive, he goes and does a photoshoot for GQ Taiwan. He’s already one of our daily SHAGs, but we don’t mind putting up a picture of him again. Admit it, you don’t mind either. And what could possibly make this day better, you ask? Well, there’s also a video:

Quite possibly one of the biggest stereotypes about Asians is the one concerning our height. It seems as if every and all Asians have dealt with the stereotype of Asians being short. Admittedly, there are quite a few fun-sized Asians (I am among them) and we definitely have no problem with short. The problem is the amount of shock towards tall Asians. I’ve always wondered about why this is such a perplexing thing for some. I’m certainly not surprised when I run into a tall Asian- if there are tall people in other cultures, why is it so unheard of to encounter a tall Asian? But what happens if an Asian doesn’t fall into this myth? They’re met with remarks like “Wow, you’re tall for an Asian.” The western world seems in disbelief that Asians can be anything but short. Here is a guide to some of the hottest Asian faces in the male modeling industry. You can thank me later.
Asians already don’t have much of a problem purchasing Louis Vuitton…everythings. (Bags, wallets, belts, shoes, hats, you name it, they’ve got it.)
But if they did, LV’s new ad will send them straight to the stores.

The luxury label has announced its first-ever Asian male face and what a fine face it is. Meet 25-year old Taiwanese model, Godfrey Gao who appears in the spring campaign toting a Damier Graphite “Elvis” messenger bag. With the scruffy chiseled chin, smoldering stare and sun-kissed complexion, Gao is sure to dispel any notion that toting a man-bag is anything less than manly.
We know, we know, you’re welcome for this image.
Thanks to the Shanghaiist for the tip.
