It’s been nearly a month since my hair has undergone the Global Keratin treatment and I’m happy to report that I am very very satisfied. I never knew how nice it would be to not have to struggle through knots and brush vigorously to get a desired hairstyle. I like my hair, after blow drying, shines like the stars. I like how smooth it feels. I like how yummy it smells. (I don’t like how much I keep touching and smelling it though).
The Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner work together to cleanse, nourish, and hydrate hair while increasing manageability. Leave-In Cream can be used to style and moisturize hair while protecting it from even more environmental damage. The Leave-In Spray works as a detangler by penetrating the hair’s cuticle to condition. Finally, the Serum coats hair to instantly reduce frizz and keep hair smooth throughout the day.
But let’s stop talking about my hair. Let’s talk about yours!

As summer vacation slowly draws to a close, make one last ditch effort to hold on to that summer lovin’ feeling. Before going back to school or back to work, don’t hang out by the pool soaking in prematurely aging UV rays or getting one last burn. Instead, hang out at the pool with a Finis Lap Track.
It’s a clever little gadget. The Lap Track is an underwater lap counter and timer that counts the number of laps you swim, how fast you swim each lap, your total time, and the number of calories burned. It comes with memory recall, is able to record up to 50 laps, and can calculate a series of averages. (It’s smarter than most people.)
I’ve always wondered how fast I go when I swim, especially since I feel like I barely go anywhere until my head hits the wall.
If anything, the button pushing will make you feel like an Olympic swimmer. And that’s pretty cool.
There’s still Labor Day — summer’s last hurrah — so it’s not too late! Comment to this post by August 25, 11:59 pm, and we’ll pick one lucky winner. Retweet for an additional entry, and remember, you must have a U.S. mailing address to win! Good luck!
Last week, we introduced you to PaperDoll, the coolest indie band fronted by Asian American It-Girl Teresa Lee Chaisiri. And now we’ve got PaperDoll goodies to give away to our oh-so-lucky readers. (Thanks for the hook-up Teresa!)
Even if you’ve never heard of PaperDoll before, you’re going to fall in love with just one listen. And beyond their sound, the little Kid Robot-meets-Ultraman mascot emblazoned on their debut album Ballad Nerd Pop cover will make you wanna wear these buttons and tees everywhere.
Just comment below — and retweet for an extra entry — and we’ll pick 10 lucky winners to win some CDs, buttons and tees, all courtesy of Teresa herself of PaperDoll. (You must have a U.S. mailing address to win.)

Need a last minute gift for under $50? Perhaps you’ve been considering finally getting a cell phone for your kid (or your mom!). Maybe you’re sick of snail texting on that 10-key. Or maybe you just need new, slick technology to go with your new, slick self for the new year. Either way, score major points with anyone on your list with the new Sanyo Incognito SCP-6760 cell phone.
We love the high gloss, titanium black “now-you-see-it-now-you-don’t” keypad and display. It looks all minimalist and cool until you activate it, and then the glow-through keypad and OLED external display magically appears. If you need to do some speed texting, just flip the phone open and you have a full QWERTY keyboard and a high-resolution 2.6 QVGA internal display.
