Let’s rejoice! Another designer collab is on our way – this time, from Derek Lam for Kohl’s. Last year, Kohl’s launched their first designer collaboration series (DesigNation) with Narisco Rodriquez – now all eyes are on Lam for their second collection. Lam found his inspiration in the city of Rio de Janiero. Prices range from $36-$88 and will include skirts, dresses, jackets, and swimwear.

Runway Rundown co-founder and Korean American stylista Kim Halzle is back with spring trends to cash in on now.
I’m back to give you the wrap up on a few more key trends for Spring. Still not sure about what key pieces to buy for a fresh new Spring look? Not sure how to utilize your existing wardrobe and
incorporate it with the new trends? Fret not! The exciting thing about fashion is that you can make it your own. Don’t be intimidated by expensive price tags and statement pieces that don’t seem fitting to
your lifestyle. Mix and match these trends at a researched and affordable price and you’ll be feeling and looking like a million bucks before the snow melts!
Trend 1: Stripes
A standout pattern amongst a crowd of notables for the season will be stripes. Bold, chunky, skinny, vibrant, this list goes on and the multiple ways they can be styled is endless. Another thing we love
about stripes for the season, as they are traditionally known to give off a nautical look this season finds them more youthful and artistic. Mix and match and show your stripes this season!
Inspired from the runway: Jason Wu, Jil Sander, Fendi
It’s a new season and I, for one, can’t wait to try out spring’s pretty, colorful looks. Inspired by all the sorbet colors on the runway, I’m gonna go for a more naturally pretty, naturally undone look.
But that doesn’t mean I’m going to put away my makeup kit. From flushed cheeks, yummy nails, bold brows and fluttery lashes, spring’s makeup arsenal has plenty of styles to experiment with.

I know, I know. I’ve been waxing profuse about spring, warm weather, bright pastels and must-have khaki for the past weeks as we put our spring print issue to bed. (And it’s a good one — subscribe now to get it on time in March!)
But now I have to shift gears and think seven months ahead, otherwise known as fall fashion for 2010, as I’m getting ready to put away fall fashion 2009. Thankfully, the looks coming out of New York Fashion Week last week are inspiring and oh-so wearable.
Your first preview into the looks you’re going to covet in six months comes from backstage at the Derek Lam fall 2010 show. Estée Lauder’s Tom Pecheux did the makeup and shared his looks for the models with us.
