It’s safe to say, Asian Americans Dollaya and Linda love jewelry.
Linda got her start managing her family’s jewelry business in Thailand. After college, she got her graduate gemology (G.G.) degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, Calif.
Dollaya took a detour from management consulting, marketing and finance, to earn her G.G. degree from GIA in New York, NY. Together, the friends founded Dahlia Blu.
And as true jewelry lovers, Dollaya and Linda embrace all styles of jewelry, from modern to funky to handcrafted. Their hammered sterling silver double ribbon ring, however, is a crowd pleaser all around. Modern and sculptural, but with a handcrafted hammered texture.
