Admittedly, I am one of those individuals who gets gloomy at the sight of rain. For many people, rain is a time to complain about getting wet, being cold and an unexplained sense of sadness. Well you may start reconsidering that once you see Kayden.
In this video, Kayden appears to be experiencing rain for one of the first times. Trust us when we say this is the cutest reaction to rain EVER.
If you need a reminder to appreciate the little things in life, this would be it. I may not be delighted with rain, but I certainly don’t mind Kayden playing in it.
If there’s one thing Audrey readers seem to be a fan of, that would be all things cute. This can be cute babies, cute cosplayers and above all, cute food.
Coffee art has gained quite some popularity over the years, but theres another edible art that’s threatening to take the spotlight: radish art.
Instead of using foam sitting on coffee, people have recently began shaping the grated radish that sits on top of Japanese hot pots and stews. These dishes, also known as nabe, are generally served during the cold weather and are often topped with grated daikon radish.
A typical nabe dish will have the daikon radish grated on to the bowl and simply mixed in with the other ingredients to add a fresh flavor. Talented folk have decided to use the grated radish as a medium to create delightful characters, animals and shapes.
Now, people are taking the time to squeeze the radish until the excess water spills onto the bowl. When the radish becomes just the right texture, it can be molded into all the adorable radish sculptures you see below.
It’s been months since its release, but people still can’t stop talking about the Disney animated film, Frozen. The film has been gathering nominations left and right, has stolen the hearts of many, and has already slid past the $300M mark domestically and over $600M worldwide. Frozen is on its way to being the highest-grossing Disney Animation release in history.
Because the film’s popularity, it’s no surprise that we’ve seen fans everywhere cover the songs in Frozen. Young girls are belting out the lyrics to “Let it Go” and social media seems to have been covered with a single question: do you want to build a snowman?
In the midst of all these fan tributes to the film, it was difficult to find just one that stood out. But then we stumbled upon this.
There are few things in this world which put automatic smiles on our faces. One of those happens to be Yerin Park and her baby sister Yeseo.
Among the adorable Asian babies who have become viral sensations, Yerin Park has topped our list since her baby days. Now a toddler, the popular girl proves she’s just as cute as ever.
Her father first began videotaping Yerin to try and show her grandparents how she was growing. As it turns out, he opened the door for his daughter to become an internet sensation.
Last month, we couldn’t look away from the video of Yerin eaitng, but now, we have something much better.
The chemistry between Yerin and her baby sister Yeseo is squeal-worthy. As it turns out, Yeseo is just as much a fan of smiling and laughing as her sister. So if you need a pick-me-up today, don’t worry. This short video of the giggly girls will surely put a smile on your face.
More adorable (gif-worthy) moments from the sisters:
There is no denying that cute Asian babies have become viral sensations. While some popular fads are questionable, we completely understand why adorable babies are irresistible to squeal over.
On the very top of our list is none other than Yerin Park. Her chubby cheeks, habit of smiling, and squeal-worthy facial expressions catapulted her into social media fame. Her father, a software engineer, claims that he first began videotaping Yerin to try and show her grandparents how she was growing. As it turns out, the rest of the world wanted to watch as well.
With the rise in popularity of gifs, one simply could not scroll through tumblr without seeing a laughing Yerin. Now, there are multiple facebooks, blogs, and channels dedicated to Yerin Park.
Now, Yerin is joined by an adorable younger sister named Yeseo. Although Yerin is no longer a baby, she is still a captivating young toddler.
Earlier today, a video was uploaded of Yerin eating a meal. As many of us know, Yerin is a rather picky eater so her parents encourage her by pretending her food is her friend and wants to meet her. Sure, it makes no sense to us, but we must admit that we couldn’t take our eyes off the two cuties. Check it out for yourself.
There are a number of Hello Kitty cafes worldwide, but what about the other adorable Sanrio characters? Don’t they deserve some pastries in the shape of their face too?
Apparently Japan shared our sentiments. This time around, a My Melody pop up cafe is available for a limited time in Daikanyama.
My Melody is one of Sanrio’s most popular figures after Hello Kitty herself. The rabbit, who covers her ears with a pink or red hood, was released the same year as Hello Kitty. In 2005, an anime series based on My Melody was aired in Japan and My Melody also stars in a number of video games.
Now, My Melody is featured in a popular limited-time only pop-up cafe in Tokyo. The cafe was originally set to begin on October 10th and end on October 31st, but the popularity of My Melody has forced the cafe to extend this date. If you happen to be in Tokyo, you can catch this cafe until November 5th.
It doesn’t get much cuter than this. After graduating from the Nippon Photography Institute in Japan in 2002, Miyoko Ihara began taking daily photographs of her grandmother, Misao, to document her life.
One day, Misao walked into her shed to discover a small white kitten with heterochromia –– one eye a warm amber, the other an ice blue. She named the kitten Fukumaru, and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
Ihara captures the growing friendship on camera as the duo work in the fields, munch on watermelon and take naps together. Although both Misao and Fukumaru are hard of hearing, Ihara is able to clearly portray their strong connection to one another. She has since compiled her photography into a book titled “Miyoko Ihara: Misao the Big Mama and Fukumaru the Cat.”
According to Parenting.com, babies are incapable of nightmares because they haven’t yet grasped the concept of fear. Instead, their dreams are filled with silent, vivid images. So what exactly do babies dream about during these sleep-fests? Researchers are still in the dark when it comes to knowing what babies actually dream about, but Queenie Liao certainly has an adorable way of showing what she thinks these dreams consist of.
Liao, mother of three, decided to utilize her baby’s naptime for some creative art. Using household materials such as blankets and stuffed animals, Liao makes every naptime photo an adventure.
Her photo art album, Wengenn in Wonderland, consists of over a hundred naptime adventures with Liao’s son, Wengenn. Trust us, it’s quite a delight.
If baby dreams are anything like the ones Queenie Liao imagines, then we certainly have something to be envious about.
Move over adorable rice pandas, we’ve found something even more squeal-worthy. Samantha Lee, a Malaysian mother-of-two, claims that she is not a professional chef and has not been to culinary school. Despite this, she has been able to produce some of the most impressive works of food art.
Lee began Bento making in 2008 while still pregnant with her second daughter. With a new baby on the way, she needed a method to encourage her eldest daughter to start eating independently. This is when her creativity and skilled hands took over.
Using ordinary household tools such as knives and scissors, Lee began turning her daughter’s food into adorable works of art that featured popular characters from mangas, movies, cartoons and more.
“I’m just an ordinary, regular and average mom, crazy about making mess in the kitchen.” Lee says. But thanks to this “mess,” Lee has become an international media sensation. Lee has grabbed the attention of people worldwide and is now a kids party planner.
Check out her must-see collection of food art. Trust us. After seeing these images, you’ll be positively envious of her daughters.
We’ve definitely shown you quite a number of cute children on this site. In July, we brought you the Adorable Asian Baby Overload. More recently, we threw some Halloween costumes on these babies and came up with the Halloween Costume Edition. Needless to say, these adorable children pull at our heartstrings and apparently we’re not the only ones.
This video has an incredible 1,430,000+ views and over 3,000 likes. Clearly, many people were just as taken with the cuteness. Although this video was put up in 2011, it appears to be going through yet another round of viral attention. This is probably thanks to Buzzfeed and Reddit who have called this “The Cutest Taekwondo Match Ever.”
Don’t believe us? See it for yourself below and don’t worry. Check out those smiles- they’re far from hurting each other. In fact, they might just end up hurting us after smiling so much.
