“Big Bang Theory” Meets Bollywood: Kunal Nayyar Teaches Conan Bollywood Dance Moves

There are many reasons to love Big Bang Theory‘s Kunal Nayyar who plays Rajesh “Raj” Koothrappali. When we met Nayyar in the summer of 2013, we learned that he’s quite unlike his socially awkward character, Raj. In fact, he had us laughing the entire photo shoot.

Now in 2014, it appears he still has people on the floor laughing. Recently, the 33-year-old Indian British actor appeared on Conan to say that he would love the opportunity to be in a Bollywood film one day.

Of course, you can’t go on a show like Conan and expect not to show off some dance moves after a statement like that. Luckily, Nayyar was ready. He very enthusiastically instructed O’Brien and Andy Richter to get on their feet so he could teach them some popular Bollywood dance moves.

“It’s difficult to do by the way. It’s not easy to commit to singing and dancing. Commit to ‘Hey we’re having a conversation and now I’m singing to you. Now I’m in love with you and I’m swinging around a tree.’ It’s hard to do you know?” Nayyar jokes.

Mindy Kaling Hates Birthdays

Well, maybe it’s a bit extreme to say she hates birthdays, but she certainly isn’t a fan of them.

Audrey Magazine cover girl, Mindy Kaling, is known for many things. She’s known for creating and starring in her very own TV sitcom, The Mindy Project. She’s known for being nominated five consecutive times for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer of The Office and, of course, she’s known for her honest and outspoken opinions. So on Monday night, Kaling made an appearance on Conan to tell him her strong opinion on birthdays.

According to Kaling, her strict attitude with her workers have led them to call her a mean dictator. For what exactly? Apparently Kaling believes that birthdays should not be a big deal after the age of sixteen.

“My big thing is, you have to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ faster.” Kaling laughed. Kaling went on to say that with 200 employees, there’s always a birthday. Understandably, it must get tiring to sing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song everyday.

Kaling continued by joking  that she doesn’t buy her writers birthday presents because she’s already given them a present: Their job.

Steven Yeun’s Awkward Kissing Will Make You Love Him Even More

Just a few weeks ago, we came up with a list of top 10 reasons Glenn from The Walking Dead would make an amazing boyfriend. This included everything from his bravery, his romance and even his honesty. Our readers seem to agree whole-heartedly. Who doesn’t love Steven Yeun?

Well when the cast of The Walking Dead appeared on Conan to discuss the long-anticipated midseason premiere, Conan tried to shed some light on Yeun’s true, awkward self.

Conan shows us a shot of Yeun caught with his eyes open during his first kiss with Lauren Cohan’s character, Maggie. Admittedly, this wasn’t a very sexy move. But do you know what is sexy? The way that Yeun explains himself. Allowing his quirkiness to take over, he makes us love him even more with a hilarious response to his open-eyed kiss.

When Conan talks about Yeun taking part in People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue, Yeun completely denies his sexy qualities and shows us his “true self” with a picture from his childhood years. Yeun is even more lovable as he defends his dorky self.

“Oh yeah,” Yeun exclaims while describing his picture. “Why wouldn’t I be wearing a fanny pack?”

This just goes to show that any efforts to prove to us that Steven Yeun isn’t sexy will probably just make us love him even more.

You Won’t Believe What Steven Yeun Is Ashamed of

This past Sunday night, The Walking Dead fans were glued to their screen to watch the much-anticipated season 4 premiere. AMC reported that this premiere broke the series record with 16.1 million viewers.

Of course, we were most excited to see our favorite character, Glenn, continue with his on-screen romance. Actor Steven Yeun mentioned there would be “more loving, less shoving”  and true his word, the episode was filled with Glenn’s worry over Maggie’s well-being.

But if you’re like us and didn’t think one episode was enough Steven Yeun, then you’re in luck. The Korean actor made an appearance on Conan and divulged quite a bit of information about his personal life. If you thought our list of 5 Reasons We Love Glenn was not enough, how about some reasons to love Steven Yeun?

During one portion of the interview, Yeun revealed which of his body parts he was uncomfortable with. Can you guess what it is?

That would be his abnormally small nipples. At least he thinks they are. During the interview, he claims that while most men have quarter-sized nipples, he has maybe half a dime. Check out the hilarious conversation below:

Yeun also talked about very unfortunate outcomes of his film location. Even more horrifying than walkers, he describes finding a tick latched onto a very unfortunate body part. “I had a guy… on my guy.” says Yeun.

Finally, Yeun goes against his character’s natural instinct. While Glenn has proven to be a survivor, Yeun has other plans. He claims that if zombies/walkers were to take over, he would just get bit. He reasons that the experience may very well be orgasmic.

This Girl is On Fire: Eesha Khare Makes a Device that Charges Cellphones in 30 Seconds

“Design and Synthesis of Hydrogenated TiO2-Polyaniline Nanorods for Flexible High-Performance Supercapacitors” – say what? Well, that was the name of the winning experiment of 18-year-old Eesha Khare who took the one of two runner-up prizes at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for inventing a device that charges cellphone batteries in less than 30 seconds. It’s taken the science and tech world by storm for an invention that could eventually wind up in some of our hands in the future. However, the teen is not interested in commercializing it anytime soon – she’s headed straight to Harvard (where she will use her $50k towards her education).

The Saratoga teen also recently appeared on Conan to talk about her invention, lovecalls from Google – and her next invention. She’s quite likeable. Click on to see the interviews!
