Boston Marathon Bomb Victim: Lu Lingzi
Post by Ethel • April 17, 2013 • Post a comment

Two days ago, America was struck with horror when explosive blasts invaded what should have been a peaceful Boston marathon. The city was sent into chaos when the blast killed three individuals and injured well over 100 people. Among the three people who met their unforeseen death at the finish line of the marathon (location of the explosions)  is Chinese graduate student, Lu Lingzi. The Chinese citizen was pursuing a Mathematics and Statistics degree at Boston University. Amidst the confusion of the explosions, Lingzi was originally reported missing -sending her friends and family members on a frantic hunt for her whereabouts. It was confirmed today that Lingzi was among those fatally harmed. Our hearts and prayers go out to her loved ones and to everyone who has been affected by this horrific incident.
