Sooo … in my frantic and very pathetic effort to quickly move out of my apartment back East, I accidentally threw a big box of my stuff out. And being me, of course I threw out the box with my camera, iPod, three pairs of heels, and a number of other valuables. I also lost a clutch and a purse … or two.
If I were you, I’d hop on either of these bags before I get on ‘em. Made by Samantha Thavasa and valued at $295 each, nabbing one of these bad boys is the cherry on top to start your banana sundae weekend.
Simple. Classy. Elegant. That’s how I would describe this Buji New York Puppy Love I Necklace. Nice and long, it’ll spice up any old boring outfit. But the black beads on the side breaks it out of the norm. It’s delicate yet got a hard edge. I think I could probably wear it to my grandmother’s birthday and then out clubbing and it would fit in either way. That’s awesome, no?
I think earrings are the ultimate accessories. Dress up or dress down, with long hair or short, they make any face look just a little bit better. The right pair of earrings are not always easy to find. If you get one that’s too big, it might make you look a little big. Sometimes, ones that are too small can seem too casual or prim and proper. But these dagger drops in black garnet have just the right touch of class and sass. Drop earrings are great because they slim your face down and black matches…everything. Plus they look a little vintage. And we all know vintage is so now.
The right clutch for an event is always difficult to scrounge up. You only need a few necessities for the evening. A lipstick, credit cards, a camera, your phone. Therefore the bag has to be compact yet pretty enough that acquaintances won’t think you just picked a random brown bag off the street and decided to use it for the night. JLouise Handbags came up with the Pearl , Beige and Tan Ring Bling handbag that suits this need perfectly. They’re super sleek and clean, giving it a very elegant look yet has some funky metal ridges at the bottom that goes well for the modern girl. I like that this handbag looks like something that wont dent if I accidentally swing it around. It’s not too softy-softy. Which I like ‘cause I am so not a softy softy girl.
I’m all for big rings that almost over-power my thin, piano-playing fingers. I always say that rings are the best way to accessorize without going over the top with an outfit.
Femme Metale’s “Big Cinnabar” ring is the most dramatic in their collection. It features a real cinnabar bead cut in half and set in a smooth bezel and is cast in fine 925 sterling silver. To me, it also kind of looks like an old-fashioned ink stamp so it’s a piece of art and a jewelry piece all in one!
Treat your hand to this ring. You won’t be sorry!
Every woman deserves to spoil herself every once and a while. The “Florette” diamond earrings by Johanna Torell are most definitely worth the splurge.
This knockout pair of earrings is 18 karat yellow gold florette studs, set with 2 brilliant cut diamonds weighing 0.04 carats total. They’re cute and casual, but have a hint of sophistication that’s sure to look good on any woman.
I rarely ever buy earrings unless they’re a pair with a great, one-of-a-kind design. John S. Brana’s “Barnacle” earrings are just that.
These earrings were created by meticulously wrapping sterling silver wire. They can complement just about any outfit you can think of whether it be casual or dressy.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of earrings made to look like barnacles, which is exactly why I want these! Who wants earrings that every other girl and her mom has? Not me!
Confession time: there was a point when I carried my loose coins in a Ziploc bag and just threw it in my purse. Lame…I know. However, upon discovering the amazingly adorable Harajuku Lovers “Kerfuffle Cuties Pop Bag” I now have an excuse to hang onto as much quarters and pennies as I want.
The “Pop Bag” features a polished nickel hardware HL heart logo zipper pull and ribbon zipper pull. Un-zip the bag and you’ll find a pink and yellow all over Harajuku Lovers logo inner lining design.
And that is no sight for sore eyes.
Think this bag can’t get any cuter? Wrong! It also includes a pair of 3D glasses as part of the zipper.
Among my group of friends, I’m known as the one to usually sport the purse with a crossbody strap. I just find these types of purses to be convenient, not irritating to carry, and uber cute. That’s why the Rocco e Dante “Hancock” handbag (in green) belongs in my possession and in yours!
This gorgeous Italian leather purse is so striking to look at with its edgy style inspired by vintage menswear. It features gold tone Italian hardware along with hexagon shaped studs on the front and back. You can go with the regular chain. But if you’re looking to splurge, you can go with the gold chain removable shoulder strap. Whichever you choose, you’re to get some admiring (or perhaps, jealous) stares aimed your way.
