We were fortunate enough to hold Audrey Magazine‘s spring feature roundtable discussion at the most awesome venue: The Royal/T Cafe, Store, Open Artspace in Culver City, Calif. Actresses Ashley Argota, Nikki Soohoo and Jolene Purdy chatted with us about what it’s like being Asian American teen actresses in Hollywood amidst delicious food and drinks served in the eatery.
An orgasmic delight for both the eyes and the stomach, Royal/T playfully combines an eclectic mix of retail and contemporary art to emulate the Japanese-style cos-play cafés — a first in L.A. When you hang out there, you get to cross art gallery, cafe and store off your to-do list. Convenient, eh?
Plus, it’s just awfully cute inside and out.
And food, ohhhhh the food.
From sliders to soba salads to spicy tuna tartare, the Asian fusion dishes were light but bursting with flavor — though I almost didn’t want to eat because the dishes just looked so pretty!
