Picking up at nearly 3 million views, this video from Los Angeles based chiropractor Ryan Lee has gone viral over the past couple of days on the internet. While we're sure Ryan was very intentional on marketing the services of his clinic, we can't help but wonder if he bothered to show anyone else this video before allowing it to go live on the YouTube. In fact, he appears just tad bit creepy and this video might even turn away customers. But then again, he is receiving a lot of public attention (although we're sure he wasn't expecting this kind). Check out the video below!

Hands down, my favorite editorial of the year so far. i-D once again, never disappoints. Click on for the rest of the editorial!
One of the biggest debates concerning Asian culture has been how Asian parent's raise their children. The phrase "strict Asian parent" has become a well-known stereotype and yet many of us can find some truth in this. It is said that Asians pride themselves in their academic achievements and are generally pushed towards a successful career. But what is the price for this success? How often do we hear of Asians who are allowed only a limited social life and pushed towards their books instead. How many times have we heard the story of an Asian forced to pursue a career their parents want...
Last season, Fox had very few successful outcomes. While we had high hopes for their newest multi-camera comedy Dads, the excitement may be short-lived. The comedy stars Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi playing childhood friends (now in their thirties) whose lives are flipped upside down when their father's decide to move in with them. The cast will also include one of our favorites, Brenda Song. Unfortunately, the pilot preview fell short of our expectations. Aside from a few laughs, the preview began sounding problematic with Brenda Song forced into a schoolgirl outfit and performing a...
It is said that people become brutally honest during times of intoxication. We allow ourselves to feel heartbreak that we try to hold back, we tell people the things we are most afraid to admit, we even make mistakes- lots of them. Watch Wong Fru's most recent short "To Those Nights" as a reminder that the heart and mind wander to interesting places when under the influence of alcohol.
Today’s NYFW recap features some of favorite classic Asian designers: Philip Lim and Vivienne Tam!

Son Jung Wan once again gave an art history lesson at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this past Saturday (February 9). Last season, she was inspired by Spanish artist Juan Miro. For her Fall/Winter 2013 collection, the Korean designer was influenced by two of Russia’s greats: painter Kandinsky for his flair in bringing together music and art and the Catherine Palace for its extravagant elegance.
Wan worked with her two contrasting inspirations as she masterfully balanced fine details and neutral hues (gray, ivory, off-white and beige) with lavish textures (wool, fur, tweed, cash-pelt and suede) and jewel tones (ox blood, burgundy, gold, deep violet and teal). Case in point: her last two looks with the ultra-glamorous fox mocha-colored fur coat accentuated with sequins and the hot gold sequined jumper that fabulously finished the show.
Wan has become known for her romantic aesthetics, always offering alluring gowns amongst the heavy coats, floor-gazing pants and structured cocktail dresses. Her latest collection was no different as she included show-stopping mesh dresses in dark violet and mocha – surely wowing her Hollywood fans like Brooke Shields and Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford.

The third day was the biggest day for Asian fashion designers: Alexander Wang (right before he heads over to Balenciaga as Creative Director), Prabal Gurung (did you score something from his Target collection?), Joseph Altuzarra, and our personal favorite – Jen Kao. Check out some of our favorite looks!
I’m a bit of an old soul: I grew up watching films from the 40s and 50s and marveled over the lady-like silhouettes of the time: full length skirts, polka dot patterns, and tight, cinched waists. When Warby Parker announced their Hayworth Collection (paying homage to the late film star, as well as the cinema of the time), each of the six new frames—three optical, three sunglasses—features vintage touches rendered in their signature custom acetate and premium Japanese titanium. The Hayworth Collection also marks the introduction of two fresh colors: Sugar Maple (richer, darker) and English Oak (lighter, icier), both inspired by woodgrain.

The third day of NYFW promised more electrifying looks after a star studded Saturday of runway looks from Prabal Gurung, Alexander Wang, Jen Kao, and Joseph Altuzarra from the day prior. Check out some looks modeled by our favorite Asian models in this roundup!
The 2013 Grammy Awards have come and gone and while Frank Ocean’s win over girlfriend-beater Chris Brown grabbed some headlines, much ado was made about Katy Perry‘s jaw-dropping green Gucci dress, which accentuated her ample bosom.
Well, it turns out she wasn’t the first to wear the show-stopping number made by Gucci, Chinese actress and Summer 2011 Audrey cover girl Li Bing Bing wore the same dress to the Golden Horse Awards last November.
So who wore it better? Katy Perry accentuated her chest and oozed sex appeal while Li Bing Bing made the dress seem a bit classier and more elegant. What do you guys think? Continue Reading »
