If you haven’t already heard of the annual Plate by Plate food tasting that’s going down this weekend at the historic Vibiana, that can only mean two things: one, you’re not in-the-know of the cool events in L.A.; and two, you haven’t been keeping up with Audrey’s Happenings event listings!
The event is hosted by Project by Project — an Asian American nonprofit comprised of social entrepreneurs dedicated to volunteerism, awareness, and fundraising within the Asian community — and is also benefiting Asian Youth Center (AYC). Aside from supporting a great cause, you’ll have the rare chance to sample culinary creations and sip on fine wine from some of L.A.’s and Orange Country’s top restaurants and wineries. Celebrated chefs like Seakyeong Kim (Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s) and Hisahiru Kawabe (Aburiya Toranoko) will be on hand for you to chat with, as well as award-winning wine sommeliers. There’ll be some stellar silent auction items, too.
