Japanese pop idol Jin Akanishi, the lead singer for the hot Japanese pop group KAT-TUN, is coming to Los Angeles for his American debut solo concert!

That’s right! Akanishi will be giving three performances only on June 19 (6 pm) and 20 (1 pm and 6 pm) at Club Nokia in Los Angeles!
If you don’t know Jin Akanishi, now’s the time to hone up on this Japanese phenom. Akanishi is the lead singer of J-pop superband KAT-TUN, which has had a total of 14 consecutive chart-toppers and has sold 5.2 million CDs. Last year, tickets went on sale for KAT-TUN’s eight consecutive shows at Japan’s largest venue, the Tokyo Dome, along with follow up shows in Osaka and again in Tokyo. All 440,000 seats sold out in one day.
Akanishi then went on to perform 32 shows of his solo tour, You and Jin, this past February in Japan. The event was such a success, Akanishi is now bringing his Vegas-style extravaganza to L.A.
“I’m thrilled to bring this show to my fans in the U.S. I believe we will broaden our fan base and reach by performing Japanese and English songs that appeal to a wider audience. We have worked hard to produce a high-quality, high-energy, visually stimulating show and I am certain our American fans will enjoy every minute of it,” said Akanishi.

Hi Anna! I just wanted to say that Akanishi’s concert was HOT!!!!!!! Had an awesome, awesome, awesome time and wish that everyone could’ve got the chance of experiencing such an unbelievable event. If I could, I would do it all over again and again! I’m still in shock! Hopefully this will open the American venues for KAT-TUN as well. How I would love to see them here! And I just have to add that their shows are always breathtaking and you never know what to expect and that’s exactly what Jin gave us! And I love that!

Im a hugeeeee Akanishi Jin fan for 5 years. For me, Jin is the best entertainer in J.E, ..he is born for the stage on top of that, he is freakin’ hot. So happy Jin’s doing his solo thing right now coz i know it makes him happy. and Jin loves America, #1. Just watch his videos and see for yourself. Love JIN.

I’ve been a crazy Akanishi Jin fan for 2 years but never thought he would come to US for his own live! Guess I didn’t keep myself up to date for Japanese entertainment news (I really don’t know much about any of those Japanese stars but fell in love with Mr. Akanishi when my friend sent me some video of his performance ）
Now I get a chance to watch him in person! Live!
First of all I’d like to thank Audrey magazine for even presenting such an awesome and exciting once in a lifetime opportunity for KAT-TUN/Akanishi Jin fans the ability to win tickets to such a rare occasional event. When I heard about this opportunity online, I couldn’t even hesitate for a second to go to this website, sign in and write this paragraph to win. I am so excited because KAT-TUN has been my favorite group for a very long time and I thought I would never see the day that I would be able to see Jin in the United States and not on youtube videos or the racks of Kinokuniya, Sanseido or even Boof Off! I can’t even begin to describe how difficult it is to contain the excitement I feel towards the possibility of being so close to experience my first concert with a Johnny.
I literally freaked out when I saw this giveaway. I’m a HUGE Johnny’s Entertainment fan, especially of KAT-TUN’s. SO of course I was way more than exstatic to hear that Jin was coming to LA for 3 shows. Which by the way is three days before my birthday. Sadly the day that the tickets went on sale, I had a doctor’s appointment and by the time I got home the tickets I could afford were all sold out. It would be beyond amazing birthday gift to see Jin live without having to travel more than 1000 miles to Japan. I really hope I get chosen.

I was so excited to hear Akanishi was coming to America! KAT-TUN is by far my favorite group. Though I am saying that Akanishi is my sister’s favorite member of the group. She would be so happy if she got to go. I think because she has not had the chance to ever see him in person, it would be great if she could. Thanks for giving us all this chance!
I’m a HUGE fan of KAT-TUN, been a fan even before their debut. I was so excited to hear that Jin was going to have a concert in LA and even planned my summer classes around it, unfortunately I couldnt buy tickets because I was at work at the time of sales, and tickets sold out immediately.
