Word on the block is that the multi-talented Jenny is now sporting conical hats, paper parasols, chopsticks and other very, very stereotypically “Oriental” knick-knacks in a new campaign for TOUS.

The American Idol judge recently replaced Australian singer Kylie Minogue as the new face of the 90-year-old Spanish jewelry line.

Jennifer Lopez poses next to Ellen von Unwerth at the shoot.

World-renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth snapped these bold photos of Jennifer Lopez for the Spring Campaign of TOUS.

Though the colors are beautiful and Lopez looks flawless, I can’t help but wonder if the props and accessories chosen for the shoot didn’t have to look like they came straight from a souvenir shop in Chinatown. Isn’t fashion supposed to be, like, forward or something?

What do you think of the looks?
