ISA‘s first concert in Seattle was a smash hit as backstage passes alone sold out within the first fifteen minutes of release, it quickly became apparent that the International Secret Agents (ISA) Seattle Concert would have no shortage of hype and demand in its 2011 return to the stage.
On Sunday, July 31st, the ISA Concert Series kicked-off its much anticipated 2011 concert tour in Seattle to an overwhelming crowd of fans.
ISA Seattle was greeted with resounding applause from over 1,600 fans at the Showbox SoDo. Attendees were treated to a variety of performances, including singer/dancer Victor Kim of Quest Crew (Season 3 winners of hit competition show Americaʼs Best Dance Crew) and the most recent Season 6 champions, i.aM.mE Crew. David Choi, Far*East Movement, New Heights, and Wong Fu Productions also performed to an excited crowd.
“Seattle definitely had one of the loudest and most spirited crowds weʼd ever performed for,” said Far*East Movement member James “Prohgress” Roh, who managed to stage dive into the crowd twice during his performance.
Concert tickets sold out within only two weeks of sales. Due to such high demand, additional space had to be created to accommodate extra ticket sales at the door. ISA has also held sold out shows in LA, New York, and San Francisco.
“Seattle really gave us the confidence to continue expanding nationwide to make ISA a truly global experience,” said ISA Co-Founder Kevin “Kev-Nish” Nishimura of Far*East Movement.
ISA Seattle concluded with a special post-concert meet and greet hosted by official mobile sponsor Verizon Wireless in Renton, WA on Monday, August 1st. Far*East Movement, Wong Fu Productions, Cathy Nguyen, KevJumba, and Ryan Higa greeted over 500 fans for several hours taking pictures, signing autographs, and raffling-off special prize packs of signed merchandise. Eager fans began waiting in line as early as 8:40am. Doors opened at 2:30pm.
“The most rewarding part about bringing an ISA Concert to a new city like Seattle is being able to witness first-hand just how many passionate and committed fans we have supporting us across the nation,” said ISA Co-Founder Philip Wang of Wong Fu Productions. “We couldnʼt have asked for a better city than Seattle to kick-off our 2011 tour.”
