Remember that old Corona beer holiday commercial featuring the palm tree decorated with Christmas lights? The holidays here in sunny L.A. often feels like that. But this year, we’ve had some unseasonally cold days and nights. Hopping in and out of heated rooms and stores and the “freezing” cold is wreaking havoc on my skin. Dry lips, dry cheeks, dry everything! It’s enough to give me the winter blues! Luckily, as beauty editor, I get to try out some pretty cool products. Here are some on my wish list this year for dry skin.

Revolution Organics All-Over Skin Crème
This is probably one of the best “finds” this year. It’s an all-over skin balm with over 15 nourishing organic ingredients like olive oil, shea butter and aloe vera leaf juice, which is great for my dry, itchy skin (it’s that bad!).
Shop Revolution Organics.
Borhese Fango Delicato
Nothing beats a hot, at-home spa treatment during the holidays! Borghese’s Fango Delicato mud combines dry skin care with that spahhhhh feeling. Just thinking about it is making feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This mud is specifically designed to help moisturize delicate dry skin and features a trademarked Acqua di Vita Complex. Shop Borghese.
Honeybee Gardens Hydrosol Face & Body Mist
Too busy for some “me” time? Tuck a bottle of Honeybee Gardens’ Hydrosol Face & Body Mist in your bag and spritz on your face as you run your holiday errands. Orange water, essential oils and vitamin C work together to hydrate on the go. Besides featuring all natural ingredients, at press time, it was just 99 cents! Shop Honeybee Gardens.

NuFACE System
After hydrating, my not-so-young face could probably use a boost or two from this ingenious tool. It looks like some kind of remote device, maybe to call E.T. home, but it’s actually the first hand-held device cleared by the FDA for facial toning and stimulation, according to the company. NuFACE uses microcurrents to stimulate, lift and tone facial muscles. I like the Pink for a Cause edition, which supports and helps raise funds for breast cancer. Founder Carol Cole is herself a breast cancer survivor for over 12 years. Shop NuFACE.
Borlind LL Regeneration Cleansing Milk
The description for founder Annemarie Borlind’s LL Regeneration Cleansing Milk says it all: “For dry, poorly moisturized skin over 30.” How did she know?? Part of the LL Regeneration Series, the Cleansing Milk includes sesame oil, St. John’s Wort oil and several other all-natural ingredients designed to replenish moisture and promote cell renewal. Shop Borlind.
Tammy Fender Bulgarian Rose Water
Continuing on my all-natural kick, Tammy Fender is probably the über skincare naturalist. Her skincare products use the purest forms of all-natural ingredients to target skin at a cellular level. I have my eye on the rejuvenating effects of the Bulgarian Rose Water, which not only tones, but strengthens skin tissue. Just what the doctor ordered. Shop Tammy Fender.
