Now, I’ve been raving about nude hues for quite some time. They’re gonna be huge for spring and I, for one, am a convert.

I really like a flesh-toned spring coat to liven up winter blacks. And for sure I have to get a beige or khaki pant or skirt to pair with a crisp white top or slouchy white tee. And tan is the perfect hue to balance a glowing pastel like lemon or mint.

Now, beige and its ilk are not exactly über friendly to Asian skin tone, what with our yellow undertones and all. So while I’ll be trying every shade of flesh in the store to make sure it doesn’t wash me out or turn me into a giant ecru blob, an easy way to get in on the naked look is with an accessory.

Picture yourself dressed in your usual [pick one: (1) all black, (2) neutral melange, or (3) neutral with one pop of color]. Now picture one of these hanging on your arm with said outfit.

Yes, nude really does go with everything. At worst (or best), it adds a very interesting pop of je nais se quoi to your look.

If you do wanna go all out and don the flesh toned blouse with the pale tan pencil skirt, make sure you’re appropriately attired … ahem … underneath.

(And no, white undergarments are not acceptable – you might as wear black or neon pink.)

My Skins offers lingerie in 20 different shades of nude which, they say, covers more than 95 percent of the female population.

All in a seamless, tagless style that won’t have you suffering from VPL. Because, as you know, one woman’s nude is another woman’s tan or death mask. Get it at www.MySkins.com.
