Maybe it’s sparkle overkill from the holidays, but my nude obsession continues.
This time, it’s Estee Lauder’s latest collaboration with Michael Kors called Very Hollywood Color Collection. The limited edition collection comes in gorgeous nude packaging that is the exact combination of matte and shine that you want in your spring nude lipstick. I love it just decorating my vanity.
My favorites are from the Bel Air Beige collection, shown above, with its beige and coral palette of shimmery peach lips and cheeks and a tawny, smoky eye. The lipstick above in Starlet Peach ($22) gives lips a nude look with a hint of natural color.
The Rodeo Pink collection, shown below, offers an eyeshadow duo in Night Star ($30) for the genuine smoky eye (think kindergarten — blending the black and white shadows allow you to control the degree of smokiness). And the blush in Sunset Pink ($26) — it may look scary, but it gives you the perfectly sheer wash of pink you’ll need for all those pale spring looks.
Get it quick. It’s here for a limited run, available this month! Estee Lauder Michael Kors Very Hollywood Color Collection, available at select Estee Lauder counters nationwide and at www.esteelauder.com.
