Get Into the MYX: Looking for Vloggers!

When MTV premiered its first music video in 1981 with the Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star,” it was only a matter of (three) decades before reality shows like Punk’d, Next, and The Jersey Shore would dilute the channel’s musical spirit. For those who are into tracking down real music videos, there’s still hope — in the form of a MYX.

MYX, created in 2001 under ABS-CBN, is the only surviving Asian American-focused music channel in the U.S. Everything from ’50s to current music in Myx Backtrax to international hits in M.I.T. 20 is played throughout the day.

The "Your Choice. Your Music" channel celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2010 with some of its VJs.
