Lancôme x Jason Wu Announces Beauty Collaboration
Post by Kanara • February 01, 2013 • Post a comment

Designer collborations are not coming to an end anytime soon: Lancôme announced that they have teamed up with Jason Wu for their next beauty designer collaboration. The collaboration will be out in September, but no other details about the line have been released yet. Of the upcoming makeup line, Jason Wu said “What was so intriguing about partnering with Lancôme, beyond the quality and luxury of their products, is the notion that the brand doesn’t impose a model of beauty but rather invites women to embrace themselves. This is the embodiment of a truly sexy, modern and confident woman, much like the women I design for.”

Coming Soon | “21 and Over”
Post by Lorna • January 31, 2013 • Post a comment

What do you get when you have three best friends from high school celebrating a 21st birthday, a charging buffalo and a vindictive latina sorority?  Just another day for the cast of characters in 21 and Over starring Justin Chon (Twilight), Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) and Miles Teller (Project X).  Written and directed by the same duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore who were the masterminds behind The Hangover films, this film is the sophmore version of The Hangover with a splash of Weekend at Bernie’s.

Meet Jeff Chang, who is paid a surprise visit by his best friends from high school Casey and Miller, the day before a critical medical school interview. After a little bit of peer pressure, Jeff Chang succumbs and decides “one drink” won’t kill him but when one drink turns into a hundred drinks and bar hopping, the adventure begins. With a passed out Jeff Chang, Casey and Miller embark on a journey to find the one most wanted question – where does he live?  After infiltrating a latina sorority, dodging a buffalo on the loose at a pep rally and rescuing Jeff Chang from the cops, these events create an even more special bond between the three of them with a touching moment spliced in between all the other misadventures and mayhem.

This film hits theaters on March 1st.

Brenda Song on “New Girl” and Seth McFarlane’s “Wellesley Wild”
Post by Ethel • January 31, 2013 • Post a comment

The “Queen of Disney” is headed to Fox.

Actress, singer, film producer, and model Brenda Song  has been casted as a re-occuring character on the television sitcom, New Girl. Brenda Song plays the new love interest of Winston (Lamorne Morris) and is described as an intense and competitive character.

Song was the first actor to be casted on FOX’s comedy series “Wellesley Wild”. Created by Ted co-writers Alec Sulkin and Seth McFarlane, the project “centers on two successful guys in their 30s who have their lives turned upside down when their nightmare dads unexpectedly move in with them.” Song will play their odd (and very entitled) assistant.
