Get To Know “Gary Pepper Girl” Nicole Warne, the First Blogger To Sign With IMG Talent

Model? Stylist? Entrepreneur? Check, check and check. Sydney, Australia-based Nicole Warne of the fashion blog Gary Pepper Girl is a fashion triple threat. And while all bloggers dream of being discovered in one way or another, Warne is well on her way to achieving that dream.

Not only does Warne have a natural eye for clothes, she was also the first blogger to walk the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2012. Still not impressed? Warne is also the first blogger ever to sign with IMG’s Talent division, one of the, if not the, largest talent management agency in the world. Yes, she is signed to the same management agency as Miranda Kerr!

Warne is a Korean-Japanese adoptee who was adopted by Australian parents at the age of 3 months and started as an intern at both Grazia and Harpers Bazaar Australia, before moving on to work with brands like Louis Vuitton and Zara (to name a few). She was even the face of the spring/summer 2013 campaign for shopping mall chain Westfield Australia.

Check out her blog where Warne not only sells an array of colorful vintage-inspired pieces, she also posts the most amazing photos of her crazy-chic outfits in some of the most beautiful places in the world.

How To Style a Structured Handbag, Courtesy of Ready Two Wear Blogger Mallory

Think a structured handbag is too stuffy for summer? Think again. Check out fashion blogger Mallory’s vintage Louis Vuitton bag.

One of two bloggers on the fashion blog Ready Two Wear, Mallory is one lucky girl who received this vintage piece from her boyfriend’s mom. Mallory pairs the purse with both casual and dressy pieces, making the bag an easy transition from day to night.

Don’t be afraid of its structured design — wear it casually as a crossbody (don’t worry that the strap is short — that’s the point!), or tuck away the strap and wear it as a boxy clutch. It’s the perfect work bag, but also adds some chic to a casual look, too.

Aren’t lucky enough to have a generous mother of a boyfriend? Though this Louis Vuitton is no longer sold in stores, opt for a similar look with these structured handbags from Forever21.

Nothing To Wear? Dress Like Actress Park Min-young With Easy Summer Stripes

We all have those days where we feel too lazy to put together our most fashion forward, effort-full (as opposed effortless) outfit. For those days, try going minimalist (or Parisian! Or nautical!) with something in a black and white stripe. The ultimate “neutral” (wear it with anything) and a chameleon of style (depending on how you wear it, it can look punk rock or French-cool or sailor chic), black and white stripes is the easiest way to turn a simple #OOTD, normcore looks into a fab ensemble.

Korean actress Park Min-young’s outfit below is so simple (it’s a baggy top and a skirt) and yet she looks chic and put together.

Stripes and leggings? This may be your easiest summer look yet.

Stripes with trousers and funky flats look instantly put together, even when the stripes are slouchy.

Pair with a circle skirt for a Parisian vibe, or dress up an all black outfit with a pop of stripes — you’re ready for work!

Dive Head First Into Pastel Colored Hair With Blogger Camie Juan

We’ve seen multicolored dip dyed hair take off, but a full head of bright or pastel colored hair? This fashion craze can be daunting, but Filipina fashion blogger Camie Juan of Wild-Spirit has mastered the trend.

Going from black hair to bleached blond and now a lilac tone, Juan had dove head first into this hair color fad. Choosing colors that compliment her skin tone, Juan is able to make any outfit high fashion with her dreamy hair color.

Another fan of pastel tone hair is lead vocalist of K-pop band Secret, Hyosung, with her silver-lavender hair.

Committing to a full head of lavender or pastel pink hair is something we may dream about, but it’s not easy to actually do it. Trading in your wash-and-go dark locks for harsh bleaching and endless root touch-ups may have some people second-guessing this high maintenance beauty endeavor. Your once silky smooth dark hair will seriously dry out and need a lot of TLC and expensive trips to the salon. (If you still wanna do it, get the inside scoop on going platinum from Asian hair stylist Vicky Shen here.) On the other hand, with hair this cool, you could basically wear tees and shorts and still look super stylish, so it may be all a wash in the end.

Dress Like Korean Actress Jeon Ji-hyun With Round Sunglasses

Take a cue from the fashiongentsia at Seoul Fashion Week — wear round sunglasses! Actress Jeon Ji-hyun solidified this must-have look when she wore House of Holland’s Cagefighter sunglasses in the international K-drama hit, My Love From the Stars, this past spring.

This blast from the past accessory has made a come back from the ’70s. Whether it’s a beach day, a shopping outing or just a drive to work, these sunglasses add a touch of vintage to your outfit and protect your eyes from that blinding summer sun! Popularized by John Lennon and later, Ozzy Osborne, round sunnies are part hippie, part modern, and all trés chic for summer. Go with some classic round sunnies that are heavily tinted or try a modern take with the gold rimmed designs. Whichever pair you choose to wear this summer, these sunnies will make you feel hip and free-spirited.
