We have London 2012 on our mind here at Audrey – not to mention also on some of the Asian and Asian American athletes that will be competing this year’s Summer Olympics! However, a bit of very amusing came across our radar over the past week.
During the Indianapolis Grand Prix swimming meet on March 29th, Chinese American swimmer Nathan Adrian did not only make the headlines for beating fellow American swimmer Michael Phelps in the 100-meter freestyle – but he also gave the audience another kind of show: baring his bottom as his suit tore while he was taking his mark. Alas, despite knowing there was a tear – the 23 year old CAL alum ra- swam with it – and won the race.
