Our latest Audrey Style Gal comes all the way from Toronto – Jessy of The Little Dust Princess!
Name: Jessy
Location: Toronto (Canada)
Describe your style – who/what influences your style? The online world has influenced me a lot in terms of my personal style. Blogs, Tumblr, and now, Pinterest all play a big role in shaping my personal style. I like to take bits and pieces of what I see to make it my own. A lot of “model off duty” looks inspire me as well because their outfits are often casual, laid back, and edgy. I don’t believe in using specific words/phrases when describing an individual’s style. Our moods and tastes change all the time and we should always experiment with different styles and pieces in order to wear what feels right on that particular day.
What is the most prized possession in your wardrobe? I don’t have one specific item, but I do love all of my shoes. My collection is always growing!
Favorite hotspot/Place You’re Most Likely to Be Seen (and why you like it)? Currently, my boyfriend and I have been indulging in ramen, bubble tea, and black sesame ice cream crepes at a local lounge just north of Toronto. You can also see me at any Starbucks location sipping on black tea apple juice. ; )
Style tip for Audrey Readers? You don’t always have to buy new things at big retail stores. In need of something new? Try your local thrift store and you may get more bang for your buck! Finding a unique piece of garment or jewelry that you’ll always wear couldn’t be more satisfying when it’s done at a thrift store.
